I’m now making steady progress with a project that’s been on the back burner for some time.

A Taste of Honey features my favourite type of protagonist and the ex-NYPD detective has gained a lot of fans since she first appeared in 2014. It was one of my first hard-hitting thrillers and the only one set in the USA. I’m delighted, therefore, with the feedback it continues to receive. I left the ending ‘open’ in the respect that Honey didn’t manage to find the final two men on her hit list.

Since that story, I’ve gained experience as an author and written many more successful thrillers. With that in mind, I revised A Taste of Honey in 2018 and again in 2023, refreshing the cover on that second update. The new cover reflects those I’ve created across this genre in my brand.

Recently, I’ve been working hard on the sequel, which features among my Work in Progress titles. In Another Taste of Honey, the intrepid vigilante returns to the hunt when she receives news regarding the two men who evaded her summary justice.

The first book was set in the USA, but the heroine’s fugitive targets flew to unknown destinations. In the sequel, Honey takes a European trip to finish what she started.

I don’t rush my work, but barring outside issues, I aim to have this story published early in 2025.
